Orig. GM Corvette 63-72 L79-LT1 C2 C3 327 or 350 SBC 6 QT Oil Pan-GM #359942

this is nearly a dent free original oil pan – all original,
there is some minor rust inside, this was stripped by hand – No Media Blasting has been done!
 This is important, glass beads get forced in the metal pores and corners of the pan, only to release once the oil is hot and flowing. severely reducing the life of an engine. I was made aware of this, by an automotive machine shop. Who claimed race engines had almost half the life span when customers would blast intakes, heads pans etc. against his advisement. 
the pan was painted gm orange to protect it from any further rusting – the inside was coated with oil.
